After a global economic downturn, the industry continues to face complex challenges,such as the tight availability and rising costs ofraw materials. Asia is driving growth and the US and Europe are starting to emerge from recession. However, there are still questionson how strong the recovery is and on how to pass on the rising costs to the rest of the supply chain, with further consolidation inwestern economies still a possibility.

Building on the success of the first three summits, the 4th Polyurethane Summit inChina,jointly organised by PU World and Tecnon OrbiChem, is aiming to cover the keyissues for the PU industry by inviting speakers from a wide spectrum of end users and feedstock suppliers.
