The reports provide up-to-date price information, historical background and analysis but also highlight key features that may impact markets in the future. The reports also track economic and corporate news.

Reports will contain ad-hoc feature articles as major economic, industry developments occur.

METHODOLOGY & PRICING

Information contained in Tecnon OrbiChem’s reports is obtained via regular contact with producers, consumers and traders. Information is gathered mainly by phone and via meetings and visits to companies involved in the different product areas.

Tecnon OrbiChem’s reports quote contract and spot prices. Contract prices may be monthly and/or quarterly and may refer do different grades of product when applicable.

New contract prices will be reported at the beginning of the quarter/month but some editors may choose a different approach when prices are not negotiated until well into the period covered by the contracts.

The spot ranges quoted by the reports will include confirmed business as well as current bids and offers and may therefore be reported as a notional range at times.

All prices are based on Incoterms published by the International Chamber of Commerce.
